An UCLA alumnus, Lee is a most acclaimed screenplay writer in Taiwan today. A heart-warming tribute to the spirit of WW-II generation Taiwanese, Lee shows an ambition to redefine that spirit in the diverse Xers generation.

巧克力死心塌地迷上了嘻哈街舞。唯在一次畢生難忘的競賽中，巧克力幡然悟出跳舞的目的並非為了得勝。導演李啟源藉著全人類的共通語言--巴哈音樂以及嘻哈街舞，在這部節奏明快的影片中，敏銳地掌握了當今台灣人民的品味。出身洛杉磯加州大學的李啟源，是當今台灣最受稱道的電影劇作家之一。李導演藉此對二次大戰時期的台灣人精神致以敬意，並重新詮釋此一精神在多元文化的X世代「新人類」社會所產生的意義。
